Jaya Palace for Yee Sang
February 13, 2008 |
Very new place, located in LTS building, Jaya Palace. Very chick interior decor, with rooms available for private diners. Rattan Yee Sang plate greets diners…and the tradition suckling pig. Lobsters in aquariums as you enter the main entrance to your left. Lantern lightings and sunflower plates decorates the room and table.

Is the food there ok? anyone hold any weddings there? can you give comments on the food and service?
Hello Irene,
The food is good but can be pricey, popular ones would be like ’siew-yok’, fried lotus with sunflower seed, French beans + tim-sum is lovely. Fresh selection of seafood (ask for the price 1st) in many styles. However, service can be a drag, dunno if they have improved.
regards,
Dizzy
Went there last night for a reunion dinner
5 start price
So so food
Very rude waiters and waitresses, not helpful at all and very arrogant
Even threw in a cockroach(!!!) in our shark’s fin soup for good gesture!
Elo gyk,
Wow, not much has improved. If you’re looking for a new place, Imperial Garden will be my next bet.
Located just next to Armada Hotel on a spanky new building, getting there should be a breeze.

Hi There,
We are thinking of getting jaya palace as the venue for our wedding as well..
any comment on the ambience and decor (luncheon)? mind to share some photoes on the decor?
Thanks ya
Elo Ashley,
Decor is wonderful. We attended my cousin’s wedding last year held there, no problem of getting car park as plenty of space below. I believe they have a few package to choose from and + is the ’siew-yoke’. ++ are the tea pots around the restaurant that makes it ‘posh’. Service I believe should have improved after opening doors to the public >1 year. Sorry, no pics available but I’ve got links for ya here. Good luck and congratulations!
